This Plasma HDTV has the best picture I’ve seen in this price range and above, it took a little fiddling around with the picture settings out of the box, but the results are assume. The picture is so clear, bright and sharp you would never know it was a 720p Plasma if no one told you. I have another Plasma TV a 43 inch Panny that also has a Great picture but the picture on this Samsung is just that much better. I would like to mention the sound from this Tv is also very good, I have the Tv in a really large room and I have it set on 6 and it fills the hole room with sound, its loud compared to other sets I looked at, many sounded like tin cans.
The only complaint I have is there is only one sound out option, which is optical audio out, I have a pair of wireless head phones I use when watching Tv so I don’t bother my family when I watch Tv and they need there quite time(they claim I’m def). The only option is to buy a optical to analog audio converter to hook them up, what happened to RCA, 1/8 audio jack connections? I see many Tvs are coming with only this optical audio out now, the converter companys must be happy about that. Buy this set you won’t be disappointed I know I’m not.
